I had a lovely stay at highfield park. The setting is picturesque, surrounded by fields, which made for a relaxing atmosphere. I found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating, and the room was cozy and beautifully decorated, despite being small. I appreciated the comfortable bed and the free internet, which allowed me to stay connected. The food, especially the three-course anniversary dinner, was delicious and reasonably priced, making it a special experience.
No complaints. 🙂.

Overall had very comfortable stay for 2 nights. The location was brilliant - ease of access to St Michaels Parish Church. Furthermore, the area was lovely. Loved it, I didn't want to leave and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The room I enjoyed was spacious, featuring a large bathroom and a lovely view of the gardens that added a serene touch to my experience. The location in the annex ensured peace and quiet, and I had the most comfortable bed that made my nights restful. The conference room with round tables was perfect for the wedding party, providing a vibrant atmosphere.
I did encounter a minor hiccup. I was given a card key suggesting a room change, but there was no explanation provided for this shift, which left me feeling a bit confused.

Location was good for my trip, and it certainly looks impressive as you drive in. The main reception is in the impressive main part of the hotel, yet I was staying in the nearby converted stables which was not clear when booking my room. The surrounding area is nice and wood look good for a wedding venue. I only stayed one night (£79) and breakfast was extra at £7.50. for the choice and quality of the food this was not a bad price.
The stable rooms are a little compact (smaller than travel inn rooms) tea and coffee facilities are available but that is it. There was no welcome pack or details about the area/facilities available.tv channels are limited and picture quality poor. By chance I found a small slip of paper in the tea tray which had the wi-fi log in details. This was easy to set up on my phone and allowed me to search online for facilities. I checked the online reviews of the hotel and agree with others that the walls in the stables are thin. I could hear a resident above my room using the toilet and shower. Luckily it was not overly busy and I had a good nights sleep

Nice remote location. Dignified ambience, some great rooms (e.g. the bar). Nice personel. Very good dinner, at an advanced hour. Legendary selection of drinks with delicious, local beer.
The window did not close (probably for a long time) and was open 5 cm the whole night.

The location is lovely, surrounded by beautiful grounds, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit.
Hotel breakfast could have offered a wider variety of fresh fruit.
